This Greek Chicken Gyros Bowl is a fresh and flavorful international dinner inspired by Mediterranean cuisine. Juicy seasoned chicken served with rice, fresh vegetables, and creamy tzatziki sauce makes this a healthy and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • Chicken:
  • 2 chicken breasts (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper
  • Bowl:
  • 200g rice or couscous
  • 1 cucumber (chopped)
  • 2 tomatoes (chopped)
  • ½ red onion (sliced)
  • Optional: feta cheese
  • Tzatziki:
  • 150g Greek yogurt
  • ½ cucumber (grated)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook rice or couscous according to package instructions.
  2. Mix chicken with olive oil and spices.
  3. Cook chicken in a pan for 6–8 minutes until golden.
  4. Mix tzatziki ingredients in a bowl.
  5. Prepare vegetables.
  6. Serve rice in bowls.
  7. Add chicken, vegetables and feta.
  8. Top with tzatziki sauce.
